Candi Acuff from Indian Land, South Carolina | Signed on: Sat 27 Feb 2010 19:21:59 AST This was our first time to Aruba and the cab driver told us about Gasparito. Being a local and suggesting a great local restaurant we ended up here our first night. It was so wonderful. Very intimate and tastey! I must admit though that my rememberance will always be of the kindness that Utahna showed me by sharing with me about her sea glass jewlery that is on display. She is truly a lovely woman and because of her story and her craft I will never be the same! What a great time! |

Terry Sack from Newton, MA | Signed on: Wed 24 Feb 2010 04:33:21 AST Gasparito was a refreshing change from some of the delicious, but pricier, restaurant options on the island. I particularly liked the hospitality of Reimundo and Utahna. They helped to put local faces to the destination, and I was happy to be able to support their endeavor. Rei took extra care to make sure that my meal did not include certain foods that I am not able to digest well. He even brought out a sample of the cheese that would be contained in my meal to make sure that it was OK for my palette. I enjoyed my chicken cordon blue (or, as their menu calls it, "Gordon Blue") at Gasparito. |

| Paul & Linda Sayther | Signed on: Thu 13 Aug 2009 00:20:22 AST We have been coming to Aruba for the last 3 years and it is always a highlight of our trip to visit Rei and Utanna. They always are so pleasant and offer what we consider to be some of the finest food on the island. Their place is the type we seek out wherever we travel. They are the owners and obviously have great pride in their product. This is that specialty place known by locals and visitors who look for the truely special experience. We will contine to come back at every opportunity. |

Doug and Joyce from New York | Signed on: Wed 22 Apr 2009 09:25:48 AST OK, from a fairly discerning New Yorker, this is a great place. Great service, hospitality, and food. Fresh seafood, but try the Gasparito chicken for a differenent experience in chicken. Very Good. Make sure you ask to see the unique Sea Glass jewelry, one of a kind. Off to the spa! |

Thea Allison from Columbus, Ga. | Signed on: Sat 07 Mar 2009 12:52:59 AST I dined at many lovely places but this was my absolute favorite! Reimundo was amazing with complete knowledge of the entire menu and giving our group of 16 a sample of the fare that we weren't sure of. We will be back! |

Art Thompson and Dia from Shenandoah Valley, Virgina | Signed on: Wed 03 Dec 2008 12:28:21 AST As we pulled in the driveway, Reimundo was standing there smiling and waiting to greet us. That set the stage for a beautiful evening. We were lavished with attention and food, generous wine pours, and the sense of being treated like an honored guest, not just a customer. The deserts are homemade, and don't shy away from the goat - it was wonderful! Also, we purchased one of Utahna's handmade necklaces. Thank you for making our last night on the island a memorable one. Art, Diane, and Katie |

Aruba Jerry & Karen from Ocean County, New Jersey | Signed on: Mon 13 Oct 2008 18:19:08 AST We have vacationed in Aruba for many years and visit regularly. Karen and I invited my brother and his wife to dinner at Gasparito. Rei introduced himself and his wife Utahna. They both treated us as if we were invited guests in his home. Rei explained the menu in full item by item and gave us samples of many different types of dishes. The food is great and the atmosphere is personal, quaint and romantic. The wait staff is professional. The dining area has many signed original art on the walls and unique pieces of interest. Gasparito is a favorite and one of our regular places to dine when in Aruba. See you soon, ArubaJerry |

The birthday celebration for my wife Amy was certainly a night we won't be forgetting for a long time. I would like to thank you and your entire staff for such an awesome presentation of fine dining. The variety of great tasting food did not disappoint either. You went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome...that means a lot to us. Thank you! My wife would like to thank Utahna especially for the beautiful gifts she presented to the girls too. Oh, and she loves her necklace as well. We had a wonderful trip to Aruba again and are already looking forward to our next visit. I know where we will be dining, that's for sure. All the best, Patrick and Amy Graham Sept. 27, 2008
